The name comes from our Romanian roots and means “Always, constantly and forever”. OUR STORY
Having lived all over the world, often away from family and friends, we constantly sought familiarity and warmth on every new horizon.
Over the years and where we least expected it, we often found solace and escape in the coziest of cafes.
Unassuming corners where people laughed and sat on the street, coffee shops where the room hummed and buzzed with conversations and the sweet symphony of cutlery and glasses clinking against each other, it all reminded of us a home we’d known and one we were yearning for.
That feeling of inexplicable comfort marked the beginning of mereu.
